A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal

“Never stop doing little things for others. Sometimes, those little things occupy the biggest parts of their heard” – Unknown

So, some of you may remember my first original blog from when I talked about having my hair chopped off for Little Princess Trust. A date has finally been set for the big chop next year!

After writing my first blog, a couple of my friends and family were inspired – and in total there are now four of us chopping off our hair for Little Princess Trust! Myself – Leanne, Rebecca, Kath and Lana. Amazing – I am so inspired by these ladies. Especially my 8 year old niece, who has also decided that she would like to join the big chop! What a great amazing inspirational little girl she is!

Due to my niece, Lana, deciding she would like to also take part – we have decided to make the chop a special occasion! And turn it into a charity event for friends and family to also attend. We will be doing a cake sale, and also be cutting our hair on Facebook live for all to see – so keep your eyes pealed! I hear a little rumour, that I may be getting my hair cut off with a sword! Eeeek – it actually has a different name but I cannot remember the name of it!

We wanted to show Lana how amazing what she is doing is! And what better than to have a little gathering, and fireworks!

Yes, the reveal of the chop date is coming!….. 3rd November 2018! A while to go yet, but it is amazing how fast time flies you by!

We hope that by doing it on Facebook Live – that we can also encourage other women/men who are planning on having their hair chopped off to just grow it that little longer and also donate it to the charity or, that people will donate to our charity page for Little Princess Trust so that they have more funds to buy wigs for other children. Also, I am sure it will be a laugh to watch!

For those that have not heard of the charity before – please take a look at the link below:

For anybody that lives in the Sheffield area, or near the Sheffield area – and you are inspired and would like to join in the event and also have your hair chopped off for the charity – please message me! More the merrier 🙂

At the moment, the plans for the event are still being arranged… Another blog will come closer to the time with more details on what will take place on the day…
